The woman who did steamy sex broadcasts for audiences online in public places believed to include libraries in Windsor, Ont., Has been fired by her employer.

A lawyer for a US-based company that offers live webcam performances by female models said the woman was fired for breaking company rules.

Attorney Lawrence Walters of the Walters Law Group in Longwood, Fla., Said the woman was a model contract for the myFreecams review.

Walters said in an email Wednesday that the woman was fired “for violating company policies posted on the website.”

Among the things that are “absolutely prohibited” on camera by are “actions that may be considered obscene in your community” and “men in front of the camera for any reason.”

Police say they are convinced some of the videos were shot at Windsor library branches and the woman would cover up when people walked by.

Videos circulating the web show the woman exposing herself and masturbating, police say.

“We’re aware that these types of things happen on the web, but when that person chooses to put that in a public space, it becomes a concern for us,” Sgt. Matthew D’Asti said earlier this week.

She used her own laptop to stream the videos, D’Asti said.

Police believe the young woman also used the Tim Hortons cafes as the venue for her shows, but don’t know where they are because each one is so generic.

D’Asti predicted they would find the woman because she is “clearly visible in the videos.”

The woman, who went by the name of lilsecrett, spent months live streaming her porn shows to fans on the internet. In one incident, the woman chased away a young child who approached her in the middle of a performance.

“We were pretty shocked,” Library CEO Kitty Pope said. “We learned of a young person at the library in January who was taking inappropriate photos of herself. When the staff found out, they tried to find out who she was. She didn’t identify herself, so they asked her to leave.

Pope said she was initially made aware of only one incident in January after receiving complaints. But the library learned from a CBC Windsor report this week that the woman had performed dozens of shows at the offices of two libraries. The girl flashed her breasts, exposed her genitals, masturbated and used sex toys.

There’s also a video circulating online of her doing the same to what appears to be a Tim Hortons. Sgt. Matthew D’Asti said police were trying to confirm whether it was in fact a Tim Hortons and the location of the cafe.

Investigators still did not know on Tuesday who the woman was. A profile on claims that lilsecrett is a 21 year old female named Lexi.

It is not known if the woman will be charged when investigators find her.

“We have to look at this in terms of the investigation to determine the crime involved,” D’Asti said.

“There are sections of the penal code that apply to indecent acts as well as nudity, and those sections of the code will need to be explored. We need further explanation to determine the applicable fees. We really need people to come forward.
